Baseball splits with Mount Marty
Teton Baseball wrapped up its non conference schedule with a double header against Mount Marty. The Tetons would take game one 6-4. Brody Forno gave the Tetons another quality start going six innings while allowing three earned runs on five hits, with nine strikeouts. The Tetons were led at the plate by Shane Cowan who had three hits and scored two runs. Jalen Denton, Kevin Conway, and Zach Stark all had two hits in the Victory.
Game two saw the Tetons lose in extra innings via a walk off hit to center field. Kody Butt takes the loss after throwing four innings in relief. He would only give up the one hit and struck our seven batters.
Coach Przybilla: " Game one had its ups and downs. We got another strong performance from Brody who has been spectacular for us. He gave us a chance to win and the bats did just enough. Game two was a tough one to watch. We had chance after chance to score and we could not get the job done. There is no reason Kody should take a loss while throwing as well as he did. Our pitching has given us a chance to win time after time and if we seem to fall short it comes back to our inability to hit with runners in scoring position."
The Tetons are back in action against Dawson thursday in Glendive, MT
