Men's Basketball ends their season with the loss to Bismarck State.
The 2023-24 men's basketball season has come to an end with their 89-74 loss to Bismarck State College. The Tetons trailed at the half 45-29. The score would continue to separate in the second half as the Tetons would trail by 30 at one point in the game. With 12 minutes left in the game the Tetons came to life and cut the lead down to 10 but despite late heroics from Benjamin Yombi the deficit was too much for the Tetons.
Benjamin Yombi had 21 points 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. Rex Stirling had 20 points and 8 rebounds. The Tetons shot 43.2% from the field but just 23.1% from three (6-23).
The Tetons finish the season with an 11-20 record overall with a much-improved group in the second half of the season. Coach Herman's young team was able to gain valuable experience this season as they are projected to only lose four sophomores.
