This Week in Tetons Athletics - Week of Feb. 26
WILLISTON, N.D. (February 26, 2020) - While the weather outside is still chilly, the Williston State College athletic department is finally seeing the start of spring sports.
Winter sports are still going in some fashion as postseason play has started for the basketball programs. Williston State's men's basketball team will play in the Region XIII Men's Tournament on Thursday against Bismarck State College in Glendive, Mont.; the Tetons went 1-1 against Bismarck in the regular season.
The Lady Tetons will open their tourney play on Friday against Miles Community College. The game will be played at Bismarck State College, who is the host of the tourney. WSC went 0-2 against Miles in the regular season.
With the conclusion of regular-season winter sports last weekend, WSC's baseball team will take to the field this weekend for games in Colorado. The Tetons softball program will begin play in mid-March in a series of games in Florida.
As for baseball, Williston State will play a four-game series at Adams State. The Tetons will be on the road from March 6-8 for games with Colorado State, before beginning a tournament in Tucson from March 10-16.
