Tetons beat Luther College 8-7
Teton Baseball ends its spring trip with a victory over Luther College 8-7. Jorge Maza-Leon started on the mound for the Tetons. He went three innings allowing five runs but just two of them were earned. Rylan Penner would finish the game with four innings pitched in relief allowing two runs on three hits. Penner would record six strikeouts on the day. The Teton offense was led by Zach Stark who had two hits including an RBI double. Shane Cowan recorded his first home run of the season with a solo shot in the third inning.
Coach Przybilla: "We finished the trip on a high note finding a way to win three games. We have to improve on our ability to hit with runners in scoring position. We have done enough on the mound to give ourselves a chance to win. Now our hitters need to do their part as we head into conference play."
The Tetons are slated to play next weekend in Sioux City, IA. We will update with changes as they are expected.
