Teton Women fall to Bismarck State in MonDak Preseason Tourney Opener

NEW TOWN, N.D. (November 1, 2019) – The 2019-20 season started in a rough way for the Willison State College women's basketball team.
The Lady Tetons suffered a 76-51 loss to Bismarck State College in the opening round of the MonDak Preconference Basketball Tournament, falling into the consolation bracket. A 24-11 disadvantage in the second quarter sent WSC into a 40-29 halftime deficit.
Williston held an 18-16 first-quarter lead over Bismarck State to open the game. Trailing at halftime, Bismarck State outscored Williston 26-12 in the third quarter to take a 66-41 lead into the final period.
Gabriella Capasso led the Tetons with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Raegan Conlan also finished with 10 points.
Williston will play on Saturday at 1:45 pm versus United Tribes.
