Women's Basketball wins 66-51
The first place Teton Women's Basketball team took on NDSCS in what was an important one. If the Lady Tetons prevail, they will have the head-to-head over the Wildcats in the MonDak standings.
The Lady Tetons jumped out to an early lead, opening the game with a 12-0 run. They would finish the first quarter up 16-4. In the second, the score separation would continue as the Lady Tetons would outscore the Wildcats by another nine points. The second half was much more competitive, but the Lady Tetons would finish the game strong winning 66-51.
Taylor Moffat would lead the Tetons in scoring with 18 points, 4 assists, and 2 rebounds. Canzas Hisbadhorse had 11 points and 12 rebounds. The Lady Tetons shot 41.4% from the field and 31.8% from three. They held the Wildcats to 33.9% from the field and just 18.2% from three.
The Lady Tetons remain in first place in the MonDak at 19-3 (12-1). They will be back in action tomorrow night in "The Well" against United Tribes Technical College.
