Volleyball Wins On Sophomore Night
The Williston State College volleyball team swept Dakota College last night winning 25-20, 25-18, 28-26. The Jacks tried to spoil the Sophomore night celebration but came up short as the Tetons locked themselves into the third overall seed in the MonDak Conference.
"We were a little off tonight but, I am happy we pulled off the win. It was great celebrating our sophomores as we finish up the season," said head coach Caitlyn Muder. "The last few weeks have been great for our program and tonight's win solidified our opportunity to host a playoff game this weekend."
Offensively the Tetons were led by Jacee Turcotte with 12 kills while Alexis Moline had 41 assists. On the defensive front, the Tetons were led by Michelle Hanley with 13 digs. Madeline Mullins had 4 blocks.
The Tetons will now host Miles Community College in the opening round of the Region XIII playoffs on Sunday at 2:00 CT in the WELL.
