Volleyball advances with their win over Miles
The Williston State College volleyball team beat Miles Community College in the sub region semifinal 3-1. The Tetons would jump out to an early 2-0 lead winning the first two sets 25-20 and 25-18. Miles would win the third set despite a strong Teton comeback 22-25. In the fourth the Tetons would take control early and separate the score. After a competitive run by the Pioneers the Tetons would prevail and win 25-20.
"The girls played with so much heart and confidence today. It was an incredible feeling to win in The WELL one more time this season," said head coach Caitlyn Muder. I can't express how proud I am of this group of women. We are excited and hungry to play Bismarck on Wednesday!"
The Tetons had several major contributors; Trystan Barta had 14 kills. Sarita Restrepo had 13 kills. Alexis Moline had 56 assists and Alyssa Oliver had 24 digs.
The Tetons will advance and play Wednesday night at Bismarck State College. They will play for the Sub Region Championship.
