Lee Halvorson Booth
Lee Halvorson was "The Voice of the Tetons" for 14 years and is recognized across the state and region as one of the best in sports broadcasting. On June 30, 2012 the broadcast booth in The Well was named the Lee Halvorson Broadcast Booth to honor him upon his retirement from Williston State College.
Seven times Lee was named North Dakota's Sportscaster of the Year, proving his enthusiastic professionalism. In 1995 he received the North Dakota High School Activities Association Distinguished Service Award. He was also inducted into the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscaster and Sportswriters Association Hall of Fame in 2003.
Lee Halvorson, dedicated teacher, director of marketing, and master of ceremonies, will always be remembered as "The Voice of the Tetons". That voice declaring, "Until next time, so long everybody," will be missed.
Beginning with the 2019-2020 Athletic Season, show quality live streams of all Teton Basketball and Volleyball games will be produced out of the Lee Halvorson Broadcast Booth. They will feature up to date stats, live line ups and advertisements for community businesses.
