Coach Przybilla: "We were able to address some things we need to work on. Baseball is a game that is meant to be played everyday. We haven't been outside in a few months so the adjustments are more physical than they are mental. We struggled in the first game on both sides of the ball at times, but it was great to get some early season nerves out of the way. Game 2 saw a roller coster of emotions. Derek Palmiere gave us a chance to win on the mound and that is all we can really ask for. We struggled at times to control the game but found a way to win. In the end we learned a lot about our group. We will be ready to hit the road again for our series with Adams State next week."
