Sophomore outfielder Chris Shopbell has announced his commitment to Mayville State University. Shopbell is a third year outfielder from Logan, UT. His 2023 season was one to remember. Shopbell was named the MonDak and Region XIII MVP. He slashed.359 with 15 doubles, 2 triples, 11 home runs, and 47 RBI's. Shopbell was also able to make a large impact on the bases stealing 30 of them this season.

Mayville State University is an NAIA school that competes in the North Star Athletic Association.

Coach Przybilla: "Shop has been a main stay player for us for a long time. I've been fortunate to be able to watch his game evolve over the years. He has come a long way and has earned everything he has accomplished. You will probably not find a harder worker out there. I am so proud of what he has accomplished."
