Sophomore Catcher Jaycob Pascuzzi Commits to Mount Marty University
Williston State College standout catcher Jaycob Pascuzzi has officially committed to continue his baseball career at Mount Marty University. Pascuzzi, a native of Reservoir, Victoria, Australia, played a pivotal role in the Tetons' successful 2024 season, helping the team achieve an impressive 36-17 overall record.
Known for his consistent offensive performance, Pascuzzi posted a .323 batting average over 38 games. His contributions at the plate included 11 doubles, one home run, and 21 RBIs. However, Pascuzzi's impact extended far beyond his offensive stats.
As the Tetons' primary catcher, Pascuzzi provided excellent leadership behind the plate, playing a key role in managing the pitching staff. Under his guidance, the Tetons' pitchers accumulated 455 strikeouts during the 2024 season, leading the nation in strikeouts per nine innings.
