Williston State to Host Region 13 Baseball Tournament at Rabon Field
WILLISTON, N.D. — Postseason baseball is coming to town as Williston State College proudly hosts the Region 13 Baseball Tournament from May 9–11 at Rabon Field, located at 1410 University Avenue, Williston, ND 58801. Four of the top teams in the region will square off for a shot at postseason glory in what promises to be a thrilling three-day stretch of action.
Tournament play will kick off Thursday, May 9, with Game 1 starting at 10:00 a.m., featuring the #2 seed Miles Community College facing off against #3 seed Dakota County Technical College.
Game 2 will follow at 1:00 p.m., as the top-seeded Williston State Tetons begin their championship push against the #4 seed Bismarck State College.
The double-elimination format continues throughout the weekend with Game 3 serving as a loser-out game, while Game 4 will determine who remains unbeaten and in the driver's seat for the championship. All games following Game 2 will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the previous matchup, but will start on time if the previous game ends early.
Run rules will be in effect through the tournament until the championship game: 10-run lead after 5 innings and 8-run lead after 7 innings.
In addition to high-stakes baseball, concessions will be available at Rabon Field. Admission is set at $10 for adults and $5 for kids, offering an affordable outing for families and local sports fans.
With Williston State leading the charge on their home turf and regional rivals vying for the title, the Region 13 Tournament promises competitive baseball, big moments, and hometown energy.
