Williston State Tetons Secure Hard-Fought Victory Over Bismarck State Mystics
BISMARCK, N.D. – The Williston State College men's basketball team delivered an impressive performance on the road, defeating Bismarck State College 88-80 on Saturday night. The Tetons' efficiency from the field and strong defensive efforts proved to be the difference-maker in this competitive matchup.
Shooting an impressive 50% from the field, the Tetons maintained their composure throughout the game, countering every push from the Mystics. Leading the charge for Williston State was Josiah McDonald, who had a standout performance with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, and 4 steals. McDonald's defensive prowess and scoring ability set the tone for the Tetons.
Rex Stirling provided a significant boost in the paint, recording a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. His presence on both ends of the court was crucial in securing key possessions and limiting Bismarck State's second-chance opportunities.
