Men's Basketball Post-Season Awards
The Williston State College Men's Basketball team wrapped up an impressive season with two of its standout players earning postseason recognition. Rex Stirling and Josiah McDonald were both named to the Mon-Dak First Team, highlighting their impactful performances throughout the year.
Stirling proved to be a dominant presence for the Tetons, averaging a double-double with 18.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Shooting an efficient 57.2% from the field, he was a consistent force in the paint, providing both scoring and rebounding for Williston State. His ability to control the boards and finish at the rim made him a key piece of the Tetons' success this season.
McDonald also made his mark, earning First Team honors after averaging 15.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. His versatility on both ends of the floor made him a crucial asset to the team. Whether scoring, facilitating, or contributing defensively, McDonald's all-around game helped propel Williston State throughout the season.
With Stirling and McDonald leading the way, the Tetons showcased their competitiveness in the Mon-Dak Conference.
