Rex Stirling Earns NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention After Standout Season for Tetons
WILLISTON, N.D. — April 10, 2025 — Williston State College men's basketball standout Rex Stirling has been named an NJCAA Division I All-American Honorable Mention, capping off a dominant season in the paint for the Tetons.
Stirling was a double-double machine throughout the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 18.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game — ranking him 7th in the nation in rebounding. His relentless motor on the glass was unmatched, grabbing an eye-popping 151 offensive rebounds, making him one of the most physical and tenacious post players in all of JUCO basketball.
The 6'8" forward also provided a strong defensive presence, swatting 24 shots over the season, while his efficient 57.2% field goal percentage highlighted his smart shot selection and consistent finishing around the rim.
Stirling's All-American Honorable Mention nod puts a spotlight on both his individual excellence and the continued growth of the Williston State men's basketball program. With numbers that stacked up against the best in the country, Stirling leaves behind a legacy of grit, production, and leadership.
