Teton hockey lost both games this weekend to the University of Minnesota Crookston. The Golden Eagles were too much for the Tetons to handle as they won 4-2 and 0-8. It was a great defensive effort for the Tetons on Saturday as they were outshot 60 to 9 and still found a way to keep it a two goal game. Jackson Ekblad scored both goals for the Tetons.

"Last night we had them on the ropes. It was close. We fought really hard, but took the first period off and only generated 10 shots. Our goalie Austyn Melin made 59 saves and held us in the game." said head coach Jimmy Grosklaus. "Today we didn't play well. Our goalie Shea Martin made 45 saves. We are relying too heavily on our goalies and not generating enough scoring opportunities. We need to find the extra gear to keep going."
