Teton Softball Signs Watford City Standout
Teton Softball is excited to announce their newest commit for the 2023-2024 season! Deveny Maria Rubalcava, out of Warford City, ND. Deveny plays shortstop and left field for W.C. and is expected to compete at both positions as the Tetons look to future years. Coach Ward had this to say about Deveny, "We started her campus visit with a workout, which we usually don't do. We had a couple players that began a hitting group 20 minutes prior to her scheduled time of arrival, so we were already rolling in the cages. As soon as Dev saw the girls hitting she transitioned from a casual walk to a jog and joined us immediately. That spoke alot about the kind of kid that she is. The duration of the trip, she was energetic and has the biggest smile, she introduced herself to our players and staff/faculty members. Her energy catches you off guard as it is so uncommon. When you meet a person that operates in that way, you want to keep them around! Luckily for us, she is choosing the next step of her adventure to be here at WSC. We are looking forward to impact she will have on our squad and our campus during her time here!"
