Softball Florida trip recap.
Teton softball went 1-10-1 on their spring trip to Florida. Although the results did not show in the win column the Tetons had several bright spots and learning opportunities.
Chelsea Creech is hitting .578 with 26 hits. She has 3 doubles, 2 triples, 6 homeruns and 21 RBIs to lead the Teton Offense. Madison Howard had a nice week for the Tetons as she had 10 hits including 2 doubles and a homerun.
"Larissa Pinski battled through three extra inning appearances showing a level of toughness and composure we have not had in recent years," said head coach Jared Ward. "The goal of spring training is to see where we are at. Getting outside and seeing where our true weaknesses are so we can address them before we get to conference play. Our staff, players and families learned a lot about this team over the last two weeks. We will look to play a cleaner and faster brand of softball the rest of the way."
