Softball beats Hocking and Monroe to end their Florida trip 9-11 on the season
Myla Isherwood drove in five runs on three hits to lead Williston State Tetons past Hocking CC Hawks 18-1 on Saturday. Isherwood hit an inside the park home run in the second scoring two, singled in the third scoring two, and doubled in the second scoring one.
Williston State Tetons scored 12 runs in the second inning on the way to victory. Elizabeth Morris singled, scoring one run, Isherwood hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs, Hailey Hunt hit a solo inside the park home run, Ailey Skerritt tripled, scoring one run, Lakyn Rabbe singled, scoring one run, Addison Mach tripled, scoring one run, Hailey Carroll singled, scoring one run, Isherwood doubled, scoring one run, and Maddix Falk hit an inside the park home run, scoring three runs.
Williston State Tetons jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Stevie Hartwell drew a walk, scoring one run, and Skerritt singled, scoring two runs.
A double by Mach, and a single by Isherwood helped Williston State Tetons extend their early lead in the third.
