Softball takes three of four from Lake Region
The Williston State College softball team put together an impressive performance over the weekend, winning three of four games in their series against Lake Region State College. The Tetons showcased both their offensive firepower and pitching dominance, improving to 4-4 in conference play.
The series opener saw the Tetons explode for a 12-4 victory, setting the tone with a relentless offensive attack. Minchuk was nearly untouchable, allowing just one hit over seven innings while striking out ten in a 2-0 victory.
Lake Region fought back in Game 3, edging out the Tetons in a high-scoring battle, 12-9. However, Williston State quickly rebounded in the series finale with a statement win, cruising to an 11-1 victory to seal the series.
