Two Tetons Earn All-Conference Honors After Strong Season

The Williston State College softball team closed out its season with two standout players earning Mon-Dak All-Conference honors, following a competitive campaign that saw the Tetons finish 10-14 in conference play.
Freshmen Cameron Macdonald and Jersey Berg were both recognized for their impressive performances, providing a bright outlook for the future of Teton softball.
Macdonald, a dynamic slapper from Canada, made an immediate impact in her first collegiate season. Leading the team with a .397 batting average over 46 games, Macdonald collected 58 hits, including 8 doubles and an impressive 9 triples. She was a constant threat on the basepaths, swiping 22 stolen bases and energizing the top of the lineup with her speed and consistency.
Joining her on the All-Conference list is fellow freshman Jersey Berg. The shortstop from North Dakota was a force at the plate and a rock on defense. Berg hit .364 over 40 games, racking up 43 hits, 12 doubles, a triple, and 8 home runs. She drove in 35 runs and was equally effective with the glove, tallying 48 putouts and 76 assists in the infield.
With two first-year players earning top honors, Williston State is poised to build momentum heading into next season.
