Williston State Women's Basketball Coach, Bill Triplett, has announced the signing of Irene de la Fuente. Fuente is a 6'2" post that can play both the four and the five spot.

Currently finishing up her senior year of high school, the Spanish star is averaging 10 points per game for Perfumerias Avenida, the top team in Spain, which is unbeaten this season.

"We really liked Irene's skill set as well as her length", commented Coach Triplett. "She can score with either hand under the bucket and can take it to the hole from the high post on the bounce and finish, too. We think she will fit in very well with our returning players and the other signees".

With the signing of Fuente, the Teton's 2021 recruiting class now stands at seven.  Jillian Litwiller, Laiten Lantis, Montayasia Jones, Emily Kurkowski, Hayley Macdonald, and Cian Parsons have also signed with the Tetons.
