On Saturday the Women took on Rocky Mountain College where they won 68-41. Allison Kunze was the story of the day as she led the Tetons with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Taylor Moffat seems to be the model of consistency as she racked 13 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, and 4 steals helping the Tetons to another large victory.
On Friday the Men took on Mayville State University. It was a close game that went back and forth until the end. The Tetons would prevail and win 69-61.
"We came out a little slow tonight on both sides which I wasn't really surprised about. Coming off three games in three days, we then had a funky week of practices but that's going to happen. Today was important so we can continue to work on controlling what we can control. Offensively we were a little stagnant and weren't moving the ball side-to-side and getting all involved. The last 1/3 of the first half and the second you saw us get back to doing things the way we emphasize them. Defensively, we took another step in the right direction in the second half by trusting and continuing to influence the ball to certain areas of the floor and then doing our best to contest and block out." Alex Herman Head Men's Basketball Coach
Saturday saw the Men's team come out on top 117-102 over Rocky Mountain. This brings the Men's record to 2-3 and the Women to 5-0. They will both be back in action on Friday in Wahpeton, ND as they will play in the Baymont Inn Classic tournament.
