Women's Basketball wins 69-65 over RCTC to remain undefeated
The Williston State College Women's Basketball team took on Rochester Community and Technical College on day two of the NDSCS tournament. The Tetons came out on top despite a late surge from the Yellowjackets winning 69-65. The Tetons outscored the Yellowjackets in each of the first three quarters. The Tetons would be outscored 22-13 in the fourth but still hung on to win their seventh straight game to open the season.
Taylor Moffat led the Teton offense with 19 points, 6 assists and 8 rebounds. Canzas Hisbadhorse also had another strong game, scoring 16 points and grabbing 8 boards. The Tetons were out shot by the yellow jackets on the day but were better from the free throw line shooting 66.7% compared to the Yellowjackets 50%.
Teton Women's Basketball is now 7-0 on the season and is back in action Sunday November 26th at home against Bismarck State College.
