Women's Basketball defeats Miles 85-41
The Williston State Women's Basketball team defeated Miles Community College 84-41 to claim their ninth win of the season. Coach Tripplet has his team firing on all cylinders as they have won their last two conference games by more than 30 points.
Taylor Moffat continued her elite start to the season scoring 25 points. She is now averaging just shy of 18 points per game. Allie Garcia was five of eight from three on her way to a 19-point game. The Tetons filled the stat sheet against the Pioneers. Allison Kunze had 10 points and 7 rebounds. Elizabeth Field had 7 assists and a steal to go along with her 6 points. It was truly a balanced team effort. The Tetons shot 50.8% from the field and 43.5% from three.
Women's Basketball will be back in action on Wednesday in Devils Lake as they will take on Lake Region at 7:00.
