Allizon Kunze Named Third Team All-American After Dominant Season for Tetons
WILLISTON, N.D. — April 10, 2025 — After a breakout season leading the Williston State College women's basketball team, sophomore forward Allizon Kunze already was named the MVP of the MonDak as well as a First Team All-Region selection. Kunze has been named an NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Third Team All-American — a prestigious honor that caps off one of the most impressive individual campaigns in Teton basketball history.
Kunze was a force on both ends of the court this season, averaging 17.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Her impact went beyond scoring, as she also tallied 43 steals and 21 blocks while anchoring the Tetons in the paint.
What truly separated Kunze from the rest of the nation, however, was her remarkable efficiency. She led the entire NJCAA Division I in field goal percentage, shooting a blistering 65.2% from the floor — a testament to her relentless work ethic, high basketball IQ, and physical dominance around the rim.
Kunze's recognition marks a milestone not just for her, but for the growing legacy of Williston State women's basketball. Her All-American nod adds to the program's rising reputation and sets a high standard for future Tetons.
With her name now etched among the elite in junior college basketball, Kunze's future looks as bright as ever — and her impact on the Williston State program will be remembered long after the final buzzer.
