Teton Women’s Basketball Adds Montana Standout Keira Rains
Williston, ND — Williston State College Women's Basketball continues to build its 2025 recruiting class with the addition of Keira Rains, a talented combo guard from Lambert, Montana.
Rains, a 5'4" dynamic playmaker, has been a two-time first-team all-conference selection while playing for Coach Rocky Nelson and the Richey-Lambert Fusion. She wrapped up a stellar senior season averaging 18.6 points, 4.6 steals, and 3.4 assists per game, showcasing her ability to both score and disrupt opponents on the defensive end.
"We're happy that Keira has chosen to attend Williston State and join our Teton program," said Head Coach Bill Triplett. "She's a tough competitor and a high-character individual who will fit in great with our culture and style of play."
Rains joins a deep and talented recruiting class that already includes Lyssa Peterson, Sophie Barker, Dani Jordan, Tyra Eriksson, Leila Heffernan, and Stina Soderberg. Together, they will complement a strong returning core of Kylie Simpson, Taylah Murtagh, Lucia Bellido, Jersey Berg, Emily Fixico, Josie Fernholz, and Erika Christensen.
With the roster taking shape, the Tetons look poised to make a strong push in the Mon-Dak Conference this upcoming season.
