Evanochko Commits to Mayville State
Freshman Zach Evanochko has committed to play baseball next year at Mayville State University. Evanochko is a freshman from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Evanochko will see time at first base and on the mound this spring for the Tetons.
Mayville State University competes in the North Star Athletic Association in the NAIA. Evanochko will be yet another of a long list of former Tetons to play at MSU in the recent years. Mason Przybilla 17-19, Corbin Phelts 17-19, Jesse O'connel 17-20, Riley Nelson 17-19, Dayne Fredland 18-20, Alan Larocque 21-23, Derek Palmiere 23-25, and Tanner Boyle 23-25.
Coach Przybilla: "Obviously Mayville State has a special place in my heart. I never thought we would be able to send as many guys there as we have. It takes the right guys to play in a program that demands so much from its players. I try to stay neutral in their decision and not push them one way or another. I am happy for Zach, even though he has not played a game yet for team he has been able to find a great academic and athletic fit. He was a guy that came in with a ton of credits so we will graduate after the spring semester with his AA."
