Baseball Opens ManDak Play 4-2
Teton Baseball started off MonDak play against Miles Community College. The Tetons would take game one 8-2. Brody Forno continued his strong season with five and two thirds innings pitched, two earned runs, and seven strikeouts. Chris Shopbell led the way for the Tetons going 2-3 with two home runs and three RBI's. Game two's loss came in part to the fourteen free bases the Tetons allowed via the walk and hit by pitch. Chris Shopbell however, continued his tear hitting two more home runs.
The Tetons would sweep a two game series with Dakota College winning 6-1 and 13-3. Dan Conway went six innings allowing just one run and recorded seven strikeouts. Game two saw home runs from Chris Shopbell, Kevin Conway, Cameron Goff, Zach Stark, and JackMcqueen as the offense carried the Tetons past the Jacks.
The Tetons would drop the first game to Dawson 3-1. Kameron Bartholomew gave the Tetons a great start going six innings on just 65 pitches. It would not be enough as the Teton bats could not seem to get anything to fall. The Tetons would come back to take the final game of the weekend 10-2. Another strong offensive game was led by Chris Shopbell and Cameron Goff who both recorded three hits each.
The Tetons are slated to be back in action Friday against Lake Region in Miles City weather permitting.
