Williston State Men's Hockey earns blowout victory over Jamestown
WILLISTON, N.D. (November 9, 2019) – The Williston State College men's hockey team is officially on a winning streak.
The Tetons picked up their second consecutive victory of the 2019-20 season on Saturday, earning a 12-4 win over the University of Jamestown at Pete Conlin Rink. The win boosts Williston State's overall record to 2-10.
WSC led 5-0 after the first period, boosting the lead thanks to a pair of goals by Thomas King. The lead grew to as large as 6-0 in the second period before Jamestown cut the deficit to 7-2 entering the final period. King finished the game with a trio of goals.
Williston took 44 shots-on-goal. The Tetons made 31 saves at the net.
Williston State will have an off-week before traveling to play at Minot State in two weeks. The two games will be played over two nights, starting on Nov. 22.
