Women's Basketball announces postseason awards.
The MonDak Conference has announced its postseason awards for women's basketball. The Lady Tetons picked up three large honors. First, head coach Bill Triplett was named the MonDak Coach of the year. He led the Lady Tetons to a 27-5 overall record and a MonDak regular season championship.
Taylor Moffat was named the MVP of the league. Moffat was an obvious choice for the award as she averaged 16.6 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.7 rebounds. She shot 40.9% from three making 70 3-point baskets this season. Moffat didn't just hit from behind the arc, she was an alert defender racking up 76 steals this season.
Canzas Hisbadhorse was named First Team All-Conference. Hisbardhorse was a major force on both sides of the ball for the Lady Tetons. She averaged 14.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. On the other side Hisbadhorse was a force. She had 59 blocks and 39 steals.
