Wildcats win in Wahpeton
The Williston State College volleyball team fell to North Dakota State College of Science last night in Wahpeton. The Wildcats came on strong early and did not look back. They won in three sets 25-13, 20-21, and 25-13.
"We were not very good tonight," said head coach Caitlyn Muder. "We struggled defensively and were not on the same page all night. We've got to keep our heads up and move on to the next game and finish the week strong. We still have a chance to come home 2-1 on the trip so that is where our focus will be."
Alexis Moline had 20 assists. Trystan Barta had 9 kills and 3 blocks. Alyssa Oliver led the way like she usually does with 23 digs.
The Tetons fell to 3-6 in conference play, which is good for 5th place trailing Miles by only a game for 4th. The Tetons are back in action tonight for a non-conference match up with Trinity Bible College.
