Volleyball takes down Dawson in four sets
The Williston State Volleyball team won their fourth conference match last night against Dawson Community College. The Tetons jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, winning 25-17 and 25-13. The Bucs would take set number three in a close one 23-25. In the fourth set the Tetons ended the way they started. A late rally would be too much for the Bucs to overcome. The Tetons would take that last set 25-17.
"Great win! Our hitting was outstanding tonight, and we were able to take advantage of the weak spots on the other side of the court," said head coach Caitlyn Muder. "We are prepared and ready for our next match against Miles."
Offensively the Tetons were led by Trystan Barta who had 19 kills. Alexis Moline had 58 assists and Alyssa Oliver had 4 aces. Sarita Restrepo led the way defensively with 19 digs.
The Tetons move to 6-12 on the season. They have a 4-6 conference record and sit in fifth place. The Tetons are back in action October 11th against Miles Community College.
